Carl C. Schreck is a partner in the firm’s Deerfield Beach office with more than 30 years of trial experience. His practice is concentrated in commercial motor vehicle and trucking defense, premises liability defense, negligent security, wrongful death, dram shop liability, aquatic accidents, accidental commercial and residential drownings, and slip-and-fall litigation.
Mr. Schreck has represented small business owners, landlords, homeowners, retail grocery stores, liquor establishments, restaurants, hospitality clients, and major insurance carriers. That range gives him practical insight into the industries he defends, particularly in cases with significant exposure and difficult facts.
In addition to his civil defense practice, Mr. Schreck advises on compliance with the Medicare Secondary Payer Act in the resolution of claims.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Schreck served as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County, where he developed his foundation in trial advocacy. He has tried approximately 80 jury trials.
Mr. Schreck earned his law degree, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law, where he was recognized as a Book Award recipient in Trial Advocacy. He has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1996.
