Sanford R. Topkin is a trial attorney with more than three decades of experience in insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage analysis, and complex civil disputes. As Managing Partner of Topkin Law, P.L., he delivers strategic counsel to insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and corporate clients in matters involving significant exposure and intricate legal issues. He practices in both state and federal courts.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Topkin has represented prominent clients, including Winn-Dixie and Macy’s, in a broad range of high-stakes matters involving liability defense, insurance coverage disputes, and complex litigation.
In addition to his active litigation practice, Mr. Topkin provides firmwide leadership as Managing Partner, overseeing operations, supervising case management, and mentoring attorneys and staff.
Mr. Topkin’s commitment to the profession was shaped early in life by the example of an uncle who served as a prosecutor during the Rockefeller administration. That influence instilled in him a lasting respect for the law and a deep sense of purpose in the representation of clients.
